Open 'Mic' Night
|   |
What is Open 'Mic' Night?
This is a relatively low cost method of increasing your turnover,
profits, customer base and boosting patronage on quiet nights!
|   |
How?
In every bar, restaurant or pub across the country there are regular
customers who can play an instrument, sing, recite poetry, tell jokes,
or entertain in some way. Our aim is to showcase that raw talent 'live'
in your venue. Wouldn’t you show up to support you friends if they were
playing?
We at Eclipse Event Management provide an entertainment package that
comprises a sound system suitable for your venue complete with staff
to operate it, a comperé to host it plus posters and flyers etc.
|   |
Too loud?
No, it’s an acoustic night with minimal amplification. Fun not decibels
is the name of the game.
|   |
How do we get the locals interested?
Initially, we can provide musicians to stimulate local interest. They
will probably have followers who will be drinking lots, so you're
ahead of the game already! Once they have encouraged your local
customer base the word will spread throughout the area and you will
find new talent turning up to play (and drink!).
|   |
What next?
As you now have enough musicians to play we will still supply the
sound system and a compere - leaving you to capitalise on the profits.
|   |
What's the catch?
You have to pay for our services! Pricing is dependant on the size of
the venue and its location. Don't worry, we always agree a quotation
with you beforehand. Equally, once developed, with no need for our
musicians, you will only be paying to hire the equipment and the host.
For regular bookings the price will be even lower.

What about music licensing?
Venues may differ. There are new government regulations currently in
discussion. Don’t forget this is an acoustic night not a rave.
